At this very moment, I am hearing the Sweet, tune of the Ice cream truck. How could I forget that amazing sound. Every time I hear it I pause, and want to come rushing outside and buy that delicious strawberry shortcake bar...it's calling my name. Brings back so many good memories of my childhood. It's moments like this when I realize how much i have missed summer. Wow.I swear, people who say the sun is "medecine to the soul"-they are so RIGHT! I feel different in the summertime. Excited, energetic, motivated.....happy.
I hope Everyones Summer will be a memorable, happy one. Make the best of it. Do fun things. Go on walks. Take pictures. Soak it up. Because when Fall/Winter hit...BAM...RAIN!

Oh Noelle..that picture is so pretty and represents summer. I love how you write its so grown up sounding and flows nicely. Don't grow up to fast you still are in your teen/childhood. haha any way we are going to hang out all the time this summer so be prepared to get sick of me! Love ya!
That's crazy that you are close to going to high school! I liked high school better than jr. high.
In Germany I heard this ice cream truck music playing in the street. I thought it was an ice cream truck and got all excited. Yet it was a metal scrap truck that goes around and picks up peoples metal scrap garbage. It was disappointing. It's funny how sounds we are familiar with are different in other countries. i.e. the fire truck and ambulance has a different sound in different countries.
Do you have any fun plans for the summer? We might come to Washington in June to visit Opa and Omi in Spokane. It would be fun to see you and your family as well. ;-)
