A Proper Party.

I wish I had taken pictures earlier in the day when we weren't all wearing sweatshirts, eating good food, playing basketball, and having a good time.

But being me, I pull out my camera at the end of the night. oh well.

America sure knows how to throw a proper party though.

Any occasion to light fireworks and eat hamburgers is my kind of shindig.

P.S. I may or may not be celebrating the weekend by seeing Katy Perry's Part of Me movie not once.....but twice. It's just sooo good.

Birthday's and such...

Thought these were funny.
This pretty much sums up the past few weekends...FAMILY!
Dinners, movies, babysitting, etc..
Spent last weekend celebrating dad's birthday.
Happy 57th Birthday to the hardest working Dad I know!

Oh and Shawn...it's been fun being couch buddies and playing 'uncharted' on playstation...i'm not a 'gamer' but I think i'm pretty good with that sniper gun.

Christmas...

Catching up since Christmas this is basically what we did.
The whole fam came down for Christmas, and our main goal was to take a family picture.
Thanks to my friend Brookylnn we got tonnnns of awesome pictures!!! Love ya B. ;)
I wouldn't describe our time together "relaxing"...but we had fun. It was nice to be all together since Natalie's wedding! Wowzers. Long time. Lots of Just Dance (wii game), food, Great Wolf Lodge, and the joys of sharing one bathroom. AWESOME! ;)

{ Milestones... }

So proud of my sisters.
2011 Leavenworth marathon can be checked off their list!
Although I'm not athletic whatsoever, it did spark a tiny interest in doing a marathon someday, preferably a half.
But let me remind you....teeny spark.
Anyway, watching them cross was so cool.
All their hard work and months of training...not to mention lack of GU. (lore)
Natalie's finish was probably the cutest and touching I had seen that day.
Shawn stood right in the middle of the road (which was against the rules) with harms stretched open.
Natalie's chin started to quiver and we all knew we'd be in tears within seconds.
Without being cheesy or overbearing, that was such a tender moment between them.
Shawn sure loves Nat. And she sure loves him.
