Grandma,

I love that we watched 8 movies while you were here.

I loved that you and mom went into a pie making frenzy. You are an excellent pie maker if I do say so myself.

I loved it when you would play your classic 'Smoke gets in your eyes' piano piece, which I absolutely adore.

I love how you totally got me into a craze for Charley Chaplin and his silent movies.

You are such an inspiring person and I am so grateful that I can call you my grandma.

As you and grandpa always say...

"I love you more than all the pine needles on all the pine trees."

I love this Holiday.

Spent a good hour teasing my hair for a party.

Dad attempted to take a picture with flash...but his thumb got in the way. A+ for effort!

{ Sisters in Seattle... }

Last week, I spent the day up in Seattle with Natalie.

We both got our hair done by the fabulous Brooke.

Then to kill time, we went antique shopping, browsed Anthropologie, and ate lunch.

I felt like a cheesy tourist with my big camera, walking around Pikes Place.

It was still fun though.

Three Girls Bakery:

A locally-known bakery perfect for those chilly, fall, soup-kinda days.

If your ever in the area, GO to Three girls.

Their chicken salad sandwich and cheese/broccoli soup are delicious.

One day, I will live in the City.

Getting to watch it in the comfort of my own house is the best.

Warm blankets, and soft pillows. Hey, it beats sitting on hard chairs for hours!

Good: Cleaning, and then a bonfire with brooke. Perfect fall night.

Bad: Getting stung by a wasp while sitting by the fire. WOw...

Nat pretty much let go of all her inhibitions. It was awesome.

{ Today was... }

One of those days that i needed.

Rainy, and cold.

sitting in my room with the heater on, and a 2 HUGE blankets wrapped around me.

(the cold tile doesn't really help when it gets cold here.)

Fall is upon us people! :)

Not so sure how long i'll be saying that i like it, when it continues for 4 months straight.

But i do have to say, it feels GOOD!

In other news...

If I would've seen this video sooner, i would have posted it on september 11th. But, i didn't discover it until just this week. It's one of my favorite short videos of 9/11
