{ A late Mother's Day Tribute... }

Meet my mom.
Mother of 5 girls
'Grammy' to 4 grandchildren
So tender-hearted, giving, a great listener, all the while having a great sense of humor.
I could go on and on but here is my interpretation of her selfless acts through pictures.

Even though she 'lives to give'...
I sometimes think she feels like this...

But still manages to keep it together and balance it all...

Even being able to squeeze in her "me" time.
Which includes knitting, playing the piano, and reading!
I'm constantly impressed

But at the end of the day, being the amazing mom she always has been.
Teaching, Listening, Serving, Comforting

Thanks for putting up with my teenage mood swings and all the mundane High School drama.
Your the cheese to my macaroni!
I love you mom.

{ A weekend of Grandma... }

Grandma,

I love that we watched 8 movies while you were here.
I loved that you and mom went into a pie making frenzy. You are an excellent pie maker if I do say so myself.
I loved it when you would play your classic 'Smoke gets in your eyes' piano piece, which I absolutely adore.
I love how you totally got me into a craze for Charley Chaplin and his silent movies.
You are such an inspiring person and I am so grateful that I can call you my grandma.
As you and grandpa always say...
"I love you more than all the pine needles on all the pine trees."

~Love, Noelle~

{P.S. I am considering learning one of your classic piano pieces, so I can carry on the tradition.}

{ Memories... }

{Semiahmoo- April, 2010}

{Seattle- May, 2010}

Natalie,
Earlier today I was reading a short essay you wrote when you were in 9th grade (correct me if i'm wrong)
It was about me, as a toddler. It was one of those essays where you document exactly what I do for a couple of hours. I was a pretty mellow, but still somewhat active kid. It was fun to read.
Then, you included a polaroid picture of me in my purple footsie pajamas.
I love polaroids. A lot. So thank you.

Just thought I would let you know.
So glad you live in Washington now.
I plan on coming to visit...and catching up with your new cat, Tigger.

~Elle~
